Daniel Joyner, Professor of law, University of Alabama speaking on ‘Use of Chemical Weapons by Syria and the US Response’ May 3^rd, 12.30-2pm. Seminar Room, Dalriada House, Jordanstown Campus, Ulster University

Prior to joining the Alabama Law faculty in 2007, Professor Joyner taught at the University of Warwick School of Law and was also a Senior Associate Member of St. Antony's College, Oxford University. Professor Joyner has written extensively on international nuclear weapons nonproliferation law and civilian nuclear energy law. He has additionally written on the rights of states in international law, treaty interpretation, international economic sanctions, international use of force law, fragmentation theory, the United Nations Security Council, and international investment law.
