The workshop will discuss draft papers for the forthcoming Special Issue of feminists@law ‘Engendering Political Settlements: Theoretical and Practical Perspectives on Inclusion’. The Special Issue draws together empirical findings and methodological and theoretical innovations from the Gender Theme of the DFID-funded Political Settlements Research Programme, which is now in its final year, in order to consolidate and disseminate the overall conclusions and policy implications of the research. Workshop participants include Professors Christine Bell, Fiona Mackay and Dr Zoe Marks from the University of Edinburgh, Dr Aisling Swaine from the London School of Economics, Ms Sophia Close and Dr Zahbia Yousef from Conciliation Resources, and Professor Emeritus Monica McWilliams, Drs Catherine O’Rourke and Jessica Doyle from TJI.
