Who do we need

Researchers from the School of Biomedical Science, are looking for healthy volunteers over the age of 35 who are not diabetic,  pregnant or suffering from any ailments affecting the kidney to act as control subjects in a study to find a novel method of diagnosing diabetic kidney disease.

What are we asking for

Eligible participants will be asked to attend a one-off 45 minute appointment in the University in which you will:

  • Answer questions on your health, diet and lifestyle
  • Give one blood and one urine sample
  • Allow measurements like height, weight and blood pressure to be taken.

How could you benefit
