Prof Wills and co-investigator Prof McLaughlin (QUB) will research and make a documentary film on the legacy impact of the use of lethal force by UN peacekeepers in Cité Soleil in the period 2005-2007. The project draws on Prof Wills' British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship 2015-2016 research on use of lethal force by peacekeepers. The film will be
made using participatory practices that fully engage the participants in the entire process of production from their initial contribution, through the editing process, right up until the launch, so as to promote local ownership of the film.
