Contributors include: Prof Cath Collins. TJI; Joyce Stockins, (Archaeologist), Lorena Albornoz (lawyer); Macarena Arias (Anthropologist), Chilean National Forensic Service
Chile and Northern Ireland have both suffered from the crime of disappearance, with families and communities still searching for the truth, and to find their missing loved ones. This roundtable concludes an international exchange between forensic and other professionals from the UK and Chile, seeking insights and sharing expertise in working to find and identify victims of disappearance. This roundtable will share impressions and perceptions from participants in the exchange, which is supported by the British Council’s Newton scheme. Contributions from attendees will be welcomed: this will be a participatory discussion session.
A light sandwich lunch will be provided.
