Ulster graduate wins 2017 UK Society for Behaviour Analysis (UK-SBA) Posgraduate Student Award

Dr Shelley Brady, a graduate from Ulster University’s MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis course, and former Ulster PhD student, supervised by Dr Claire McDowell and Professor Julian Leslie, has won the 2017 UK Society for Behaviour Analysis Postgraduate Student Award.

The annual UK-SBA Postgraduate Student Award was created in 2015 to recognise exemplary scholarly or clinical activity by students of Behaviour Analysis in the UK.  Shelley was awarded the prize for her research in effective error correction methods used in the education of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shelley attended a special ceremony in London in May where she received a commemorative plaque presented by Professor Tim Vollmer, a cheque for £100, complimentary subscription to the UK-SBA for one year, and complimentary entry to the UKSBA 2017 Speaker Series event.
