Title: The long term consequences of childhood sexual abuse: Risk and resilience.
Start date: October 2014
The aim of my PhD is to examine the long-term consequences of childhood sexual abuse. I am examining treatment outcomes for patients attending incest treatment centres in Denmark. To date, I have examined predictors of treatment attrition, longitudinal PTSD trajectories and predictors of treatment resistance and recovery. I am particularly interested in the role of coping strategies and social support.
