How you can take part
- You can do this yourself or get a team of people to relay with you.
- You can raise sponsorship money or simply join in for the fun and make a voluntary contribution on the day.
- We will also be running some taster classes at each campus – details to be confirmed.
Voluntary contributions encouraged.

Maitri Studio will lead a mass sun salutation session coordinated across all our campuses. – aiming to complete 108 sun salutations.
108 Sun Salutation Challenge

Can you help us make this Northern Irelands largest coordinated yoga practice ever?
Join the challenge to do 108 sun salutations in a coordinated practice across Ulster University’s Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine and Magee campuses.
You can do this on your own, or as part of a team (6 people x 18 each, 3 people x 36 each).
A Chair-based version is also supported.
Trained teachers will be there on the day to demonstrate, guide and motivate.
You can raise funds via sponsorship or just join in and make a personal donation on the day.

Yoga Classes

3 yoga classes for all levels and abilities, including for absolute beginners, are scheduled throughout the day on 3rd May at all Ulster University campuses.
Chair-based options are available for each class.
Donations to Mind Your Mood encouraged on the day.
Universities need to do more
The NUS (2015) reported that 8/10 students in UK universities experience some form of mental health issue, suggesting the need for universities to do more to support this emerging need.
