The MSc in Mental Health Sciences will prepare students for a successful career as a mental health professional.

The MSc in Mental Health Sciences will prepare students for a successful career as a mental health professional across the voluntary and community sector, the health and social care sector, and the education sector to name only a few.

It will also be a gateway to future study in mental health sciences at Doctoral level. The MSc will be delivered by a multidisciplinary group of leading mental health researchers. Modules may include:

  • Mental Health Services – Policy, Design and Evaluation
  • Psychiatric Epidemiology
  • Research methods
  • Current perspectives on Common Mental Disorders
  • Mental Health intervention design, implementation and evaluation.
