Introduction to British and Irish Society (20 credits)
This module will provide you with an introduction to the study of British and Irish society. It aims to foster better awareness of the impact of processes of globalisation.
The module will specifically increase awareness and provide the means for better analysis of the changing cultural and economic circumstances of these islands and also help you to think about similar changes elsewhere.

This module seeks to improve your overall competence in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking in English Language. This module will help you develop accurate language skills including grammatical rules of English as well as communicating and studying in a university setting in the UK.
English for Academic Transition (20 credits)
This module will further develop your English Language abilities in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. By the successful completion of this module you will have attained a competence level in English Language appropriate for undergraduate study at Ulster University.
