I’m so proud of all of us! We’ve made it through such a difficult year and proven that we can overcome any challenge. You should all be so proud of your success. A huge thanks is owed to the lecturers and professors who adapted to online teaching, who learned new skills to make sure we still got the education we deserved. This wouldn’t be possible without them. As hard as this year as been, I hope it’s shown you that you can rise to the occasion, and that hard work will always pay off. Class of 2021, you are ready to take on the world, and I can’t wait to see where we all go from here. Well done everyone!
Graduation is an exciting time. It’s both an ending and a beginning…
It's been an awesome year! In spite of everything 2021 is an important milestone for all of us. A huge thank you to everyone at Ulster University. Au Revoir 😉
May I begin by congratulating the Ulster University Magee Social Work Class of 2021 for your great achievement. Well deserved. It was a great learning experience and I feel privileged to have shared that experience with you all. It goes without saying, however, that today's graduation celebrations would not have been possible was it not for the teaching staff's fortitude, their enthusiasm and dedication to see us through the course, and given the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. I will forever be indebted to our lecturers, and I would like to thank them for sharing with us their experiences, their knowledge, wisdom and passion for Social Work. Finally, I would like to thank my Practice Learning Opportunity (PLO) Tutors, Practice Teachers and Onsite Supervisors for their support, guidance and encouragement throughout my PLO journey.
Never did I imagine that I'd hold a qualification to teach in higher educational institutions! I travelled far away from home to pursue a PhD, and here at Ulster I've been blessed with a multitude of opportunities and wonderful guidance from the teaching staff. A big congratulations to all the students graduating, in these unprecedented times you've proven your worth and abilities 😊
Wonderful news. Congratulations everybody. Well done Mohammad! Looking forward to hearing of final graduation and see all in a physical celebration when it's safe to do so.
Thanks so much to all the staff for persevering and helping us through with the course in such a tough year.
What a great time at University! It would not have been anywhere near as good without the friends I made along the way, the Christian Union I had the pleasure of being a part of, the technicians and tutors, the maintenance, cleaners and estates staff, and all the banter and fellowship I had with them! I've been given a skill in jewellery making, so I better use it well. Praise, Honour and Glory be to God, for above all, without God it would have been impossible! Well done everyone on graduating, and thankyou to my family and friends for all the help, encouragement and support along the way! God Bless 😊
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Timothy 1:17, the Holy Bible
Massive well done to all of my classmates who studied alongside me during what was a very difficult year for academic studies! A huge thanks to Helen McKenna and Paul Mellon, without you two this would not have been possible and I am forever grateful for your wisdom and entertaining lecturers.
Congratulations everyone on your graduation day! On behalf of the Department - sincere and warmest congratulations - we are very proud of all you have achieved! Enjoy your day and very best wishes.
Congratulations to all our Graduates in School of Biomedical Sciences. It was a delight to teach Biology students in year 1 and 2; also some Biology and Biomedical students did their final year projects with me. I wish the best of luck to everyone, and hope some of you come back to University as a postgraduate student on MSc in Biotechnology Research program.
Let’s go lads.
At long last the hard work has payed off! Best of luck to everyone who has graduated and all the best for whatever the future brings!
I have absolutely loved my time at Ulster University, Coleraine. I have learnt so much from my course and I am thankful over the past four years to be supported by great staff in the School of Geography and Environmental Sciences - they've been so helpful and I couldn't have done it without them. My favourite memory is the second year field school to Cyprus. It was such a fantastic experience and one I'll never forget! Congratulations to everyone graduating, I wish you all the best in the future! 😊
Congratulations to all of my classmates. All the best in your future careers! Thank you to all of the instructors and staff who guided us to our successful completion.
Well done to all classmates. A PG cert completed online, during Covid, working full time, is an achievement. Hope to see you all again.
Congratulations to all my class mates. We did it together!
Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as to the Lord, and not unto men - Colossians 3:23
Congratulations to the Class of 2021. What a year, what a result! Thank you to all the lecturers and staff of Ulster University for all their help and support. I have made so many good friends, and I wish you all the best in the future. Onwards and upwards.
I would like to take this chance to give my sincerest thanks to all the lecturers in UU. They have been very supportive and responsive especially during this pandemic. It was a great opportunity for me to learn and improve my skills and do my top up modules in order to become a biomedical scientist. My journey wont stop here, I definitely will do my further education with UU. #UUClassof2021
Congratulations graduates of PgC Global Capital Markets (Financial Risk Management). Best wishes for the future.
To our Stratified Medicine Class of 2021. Congratulations to all of you on the fantastic results you have achieved. We, as a course team, are so proud of each and every one of you and look forward to following your progress as you move on to the workplace or further study. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you on what has been the most extraordinary journey, especially over the past year. Enjoy celebrating your success, and be sure to keep in touch.
The only lecture rooms I saw in my Uni experience were my bedroom and my living room. #ClassOf2021
Massive thank you to all the staff and peers who made my three years at Ulster so memorable!
Thank you to the incredible staff at Ulster University for helping me progress with my career. Ulster has made me realise that anyone can do anything with a bit of grit and determination. Well done and thank you to the Class of 2021! We did it ! 🎓 👁️👄👁️
One thing I can say about this course was that it was a great way for me to narrow down what area suited me best going forward. During my time at Ulster I learnt a lot, even if it wasn't easy at times, even with Covid, but I powered through to get my degree. It was a great challenge and to graduate is a feeling that will stay with me and the experiences I've had as an Ulster student will remain with me always. I'd encourage everyone to enjoy yourself and have fun.
Well we got there in the end, phew!
My Ulster University journey began by studying for a degree in Biomedical Engineering, but after 2 years I decided it wasn't the path I wanted to take. The best decision I made was taking a year out to figure out what my passion really was. Trying not to compare the timing of your life is hard, but I'm so incredibly grateful to have had the chance to go back and complete my degree in Mechatronic Engineering, achieving a first class honours. And I have now spent the last 5 weeks working as a graduate BMS Engineer. A massive thank you to all the lecturers I've had over the years and also to my amazing family and friends, for the incredible support and encouragement! Couldn't have done it without you all!
I have thoroughly enjoyed my academic journey with UU and have made a lifetime of memories and friendships! Navigating a degree during a global pandemic has been a challenge for students and staff but I can honestly say that we rallied together and with great support we made it through! Thank you to the Social Work academic team and to all of my fellow students… WE DID IT!
Congratulations to my fellow MLD classmates and the rest of the resilient students of 2021. We did it!! All the hard work over the past 3 years has paid off. Proud to be graduating from UU, with thanks to the help and support of the lecturers, our course director, Judith Woods and not forgetting the family and friends who put up with the stressful moments!
Congratulations to the Class of 2021! Despite the difficult 18 months you have had to battle through, you have made it to your graduation. You have shown admirable levels of perseverance and resilience so you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! Good luck on your next adventure - better times are coming. For now, treat yourselves to a bottle of bubbly and enjoy your Summer!
I really enjoyed my course in Museum Management and Practice. It was a lively and interesting course throughout my 4 modules, even though it was done through distance learning. When Covid hit and when I moved to another country my teachers were very understanding thank goodness. Will miss being on the course... but on to new adventures.
Congratulations to the Class of 2021! This year has been tough on everyone. Thanks to all of the lecturers who gave me extra time and support due to personal issues. I honestly can say I would not have gotten the result that I did without all of you! Also, please stay away from that Choccy Tequila; it's potent stuff!
I am unbelievably blessed to be graduating with the Class of 2021. Where a door has closed, 2 more have opened up to allow me to prosper in my time here at Ulster University. A big thanks to the teaching staff and support staff, they’ve been wonderful and so helpful.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done” - N.D. Cheers class of 2021, we did it! The last three years have been amazing with many ups and downs. I am forever grateful for all the experiences, friends, lecturers, and adventures that shaped and influenced my undergrad at UU. A giant thank you to everyone who supported me and my idea of studying 1439km away from home. Congratulations everyone! ❤️ Ps. I’ll be back for my masters at UU, see you soon! 🎉
Congratulations to everyone on making it through the year of the corona, we put in the effort and got the job done. All the best for the future, and as a wise man once said… Careful now.
If the Crossroads empty, give 'er plenty. Ching Ching. Party on!
Sleepless nights have come to an end for now.. Thanks to all of the lecturers and staff for making this year possible during Covid, and of course a massive shout out to Uhu Glue and Kenco Coffee.
It took a while but made it in the end.
Wow, we made it! From Nigeria to Northern Ireland, it's been anything but easy. Thanks to the amazing people I've met here. Jojo, Wulme, Linda and the gang, love you guys. Maciej, Gerald, Fabian and co, thanks for making my final year one to remember! To my lecturers and course director, Bob, I'm grateful. And to mum, dad, Sis J, my entire family, what would I do without you? I love you all. Mama, I'm proud of you, you made a genius! To all my mates, wish ye all the best ahead. Watch out world, here we come!

This MBA degree will increase my skills and ability at my current position and I am now more confident regarding my decision making process. I think Ulster's MBA is more practical than any other course.
Excited to see where this qualification takes all those in my cohort. The course was a great way to finally learn data science and programming, after years of wanting to pursue it. Thanks to the course team and my peers who made a good course very enjoyable. Special shout out to my groupwork partners Will, Peter and Darrell.
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was "Oh no, not again." Many people have speculated that, if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that, we would know a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now.
If a problem can be solved by money, time or effort it’s not a problem.
Good luck to all my classmates and everyone at UU. We did the work, adapted to an online learning environment, and gave it our all. The future looks bright. Wishing that you achieve your hopes, ambitions and dreams.
So that's a wrap! Five years of modules, assignments, much concept, theory and ideology coupled with a wealth of academic expertise and insight. I lasted the duration and now get to graduate! I've met so many great peers, friends and academics who have made this a truly enriching experience. Not to mention all my library buds that have been in the bowels of Jordanstown to the late hours during the brink of submission deadlines and beyond. So thankful for Ulster and all the people who have made this journey possible. Wishing you all the best with your future endeavours!
We did it!!!! We all made it through nearly 2 years of online learning and successfully completed our degrees! I’m so proud of everybody and going to miss everyone so much, I’d do it all again in a heartbeat!
Congratulations to all of us for succeeding in the year that has been! The Class of 2021 has been through it and we have all come out the other side. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my tutors at South West College, Dungannon for the first two years of this course; the knowledge, skills and values gained during this time have aided in the successful completion of my final year in Magee. Throughout my final year we have had amazing tutors who went above and beyond in teaching the course virtually. Congrats to all of us and this is only the beginning!!
To the Class of 2021! Congratulations on finishing your degree! To the best 4 years of being a university student with so many memories and friendships that have been created while studying at Ulster University in Coleraine.
Studying at Ulster has been a great experience. Many thanks to all the helpful staff and the best of luck to the friends I made along the way!
It has been a wonderful year despite covid-19, lockdowns and remote learning. I have enjoyed my time at Ulster University and am thankful to everyone that has been a part of my journey. It wouldn't have been a successful one without you. Good luck to everyone.
I'd like to thank my lecturers for the teachings and guidance. I'd also like to thank 2018 UUSU president (Kevin) and certain individuals for all your help and support during my time at UU. Finally, thank you to my 4 girls (you know yourselves), you made uni a fun and bearable experience. I wish you and the rest of our course mates all the absolute best in your future endeavours 🙏🏽
UU and it’s staff and students have been so supportive and encouraging through all my years and across all aspects of study! The lecturers have been impeccable throughout the pandemic and were always there to chat to and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and supported. Thank you so much to Pratheep, Magda, Saugat and Daniel for an awesome Final Year! Celebrating today at home with my dog Indy 🐕
What a year it has been! I just want to say thank you to all of the friends I have made along the way this year, as well as a huge thank you to our amazing Stephen! We couldn’t have done it without your support! Here’s to the class of 2021!! #GeographyRocks
Good luck for the future guys!
I really enjoyed my three years at Ulster. Coming back to study as a mature student with a family I had low expectations on what I would be able to achieve but can happily say that I did better than I ever could have imagined and had a fantastic time along the way. Attending Ulster University is definitely an experience I will never forget.
Congrats to all graduating students from the School of Arts and Humanities, and, in particular to the BSc Creative Technologies and BMus classes. To Creative Technologies, I'd just like to say that it's been a real pleasure to see how your ideas have developed over the four years of your degree (including your placements), and that I really enjoyed reading the variety of final projects...I was both impressed with where you took these to, and also with the originality of the projects. Well done! You'll also have a special place in our memories as the last graduating class of the CT degree, which we established in 2008. It's been a blast, and I'm sorry to see the degree go, but that makes your achievements all the rarer, and all the more important. Enjoy the next steps and believe in yourselves as you chart a new path and go out there and make something new, be it art, technology, or both! To BMus students, who moved online with me last March, and who helped make it an exciting journey of finding a shared community dispersed across our many parts of the island and a variety of domestic spaces. I really enjoyed being able to continue our conversations, and the new places our conversations went to, as we experienced this strange lockdown together. I'm also delighted that MUS302 got to meet composer John McLachlan and hear the work he composed for RTE Lyric FM as a result of being in the class; I hope that his visit, giving the example of an experienced composer moving into electronic and electroacoustic music, will inspire you to continue to challenge yourselves creatively, as you perform and create new music. (And if you do, remember to submit some to Rob's Outworker Records!) Hearty congrats, all, and keep in touch!
It has been a pleasure to study at Ulster University. After a year of hard work, all of my dreams have come true. Thanks to all the staff and professors for teaching us. Happy graduation!
Congratulations to all our new graduates from the School of Computing, Engineering, and Intelligent Systems. It's been a challenging year but you got through it. Be proud of your achievement. Best wishes for the future.
Congratulations to all the newly qualified PGCE Primary teachers of 2021! Best wishes for your teaching career ahead!
I returned to studying at Ulster University after 23 years for the MSc in GIS. Returning as a mature part-time student through e-learning was an incredible journey and experience. I want to thank the remarkable lecturers and faculty team for their fantastic support and dedication. Good luck and best wishes to everyone graduating in 2021.
Resilience is the key to success.
Extremely glad to have been a part of the Ulster University experience and appreciate the help and generosity of all the staff and students throughout. Eager to see what opportunities will present themselves on the next leg of this journey. Many thanks, and wish all graduates well!
What a journey we have all been on the past few years, but we all can be so proud of what we have achieved! “A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” ~ Salvador Dali
These 3 years have been a journey. I have learned so much about myself and have met so many amazing tutors and designers. Thank you, Ulster, it's been a pleasure.
Many thanks to Dr Jessica Bates & all the staff on the LIM course for two brilliant years in which I have learnt so much about librarianship. You have enabled me to land my dream job. Many thanks and best wishes to all my course mates, I really enjoyed our Thursday night and Blackboard discussions and I'm so grateful for the sharing of ideas. All the best for the future & I hope we'll stay connected x
The Class of 2021 will be remembered for many things- resilience, togetherness and a delightful little community of learners. You impressed me throughout with your continued dedication and professionalism. You exhibited a trust and openness that developed a genuine group connection that I am sure will remain when you join your respective schools. You can stand tall and be proud for this achievement as teaching was hugely altered this year and you dealt with the changes and restrictions in a positive and progressive way. One of the reasons for this resilience was because of your shared motivation to help, contribute and excite students and staff about the power and value of Art and Design and the creative process. We worked hard and had a lot of laughs- I looked forward to the weekly catchups and hearing your stories. You fully earned your sparkly pencil! Congratulations and thank you for bringing your expertise, ideas and energy to make the course a delight!
These past four years have been life-changing and I am so glad I enrolled in this course! I would like to express my sincere thanks to our lecturers for all of their insight and support, and I wish everybody the best of luck for the future.
To the Class of 2021, we are so incredibly proud of you! You have shown us that hard times often extract the best out of us. And that adversity can be channeled into opportunity. It is the filmmakers, performers and musicians that will carry us through the pandemic into a new reality. You are the ones who tell us how to navigate, breathe, feel, think, enjoy, and fully live our lives. Now go follow your passion; it will lead to your purpose! 🎬🌎🎓🥳
Wow, what an endeavor. Panic, pandemics and practicals that seemed ungodly at the time. There were tears and laughs, but such is expected in a course entitled 'Drama'. I will now plague people with my newfound knowledge of Stanislavski, and tell great tales of theatrical yoga. The best part was the extraordinary individuals though, of course. See you all on the red carpet.
To the all-nighters, the complex judgments and endless readings. To the stress, tears and chaos of the Pandemic. We did it.
“Carpe dentum” (seize the teeth) - Mrs Doubtfire 1993.
Congratulations Class of 2021! You should all be so proud of everything you have achieved this year! In the wise words of Elle Woods, “We did it!”
It has been so unfortunate that I was unable to experience final year of IM at Ulster, and not being able to interact with my fellow classmates and lectures has been something I really missed this year! However, we all did amazingly well and I think we should all be proud, especially after such a strange and difficult year. I just want to say, well done everyone and good luck for things to come, and thanks to Adrian, Helen & Alan for everything ⚡️
Wow, what a journey! Shout out to the "awesome wimmin" for your friendship and encouragement. Your contribution really helped me get the most out of this course.
Thanks a million to all the wonderful staff at Ulster University and to my family and friends for supporting me through this journey. Congratulations everyone and best wishes for the future!!
I started the part-time MSc course in September 2007, and should have graduated in July 2010. However, after completing 6 modules, I took leave of absence due to ill health. This leave was a lot longer than expected, and I eventually returned in September 2017. However after completing one of the two remaining taught modules, I again became unwell and had to take leave once again, returning in January 2020. All was going OK until COVID happened, and as I work in the NHS I was under a lot of pressure, so I could not complete the final taught module as planned. However, I did take the exam in May, was granted a coursework extension until August, and finally managed to complete the module. I decided in the circumstances not to continue with the dissertation at present, so all the paperwork has now been sorted for the lower award, and I can finally graduate PgDip Biomedical Engineering with Distinction. I was so glad to receive my parchment a few weeks ago, meaning my grandmother got to see it. Thanks to all the staff who have been so helpful and encouraging along the way, particularly during the last 2 modules and the last year - you know who you are! And hopefully one day I will complete the dissertation and graduate MSc! Congratulations to everyone graduating from UU this week. Not exactly the experience you expected, perhaps, but a fantastic achievement which will stand you in good stead for the future. To paraphrase Elle Woods at the end of Legally Blonde... ‘Congratulations Class of 2021 - we did it!’

Congratulations to all of my fellow students! The past 3 years have been great and I have really enjoyed my time on the course. I would also like to thank all of my tutors on the Fine Art course for all of their help and support.
Wishing all the BSc Communication, Advertising and Marketing students the very best for the future. It's been great to be your course director and I'm very proud of all you have achieved. Good luck!
To our students who are graduating in 2021 we are very proud of all of you. It has been a tough year but we have all learned about the importance of adaptability and perseverance. A special shout out to my Moy Park graduates. You have embraced online learning and you have bright futures. Keep learning and growing. Congratulations to all our graduates. Let your light shine!
What a University experience that was! If you had told 20-year-old Jake heading into 2nd year directly after completing his HND that he would be finishing his degree during a pandemic he wouldn't have believed you. It's certainly an experience I'll never forget. Thank you UUJ and Good Luck to everyone #ClassOf2021
What a great experience these last 5 years have been for me. To come from having nothing to earning a 1st class honours degree has been challenging but extremely rewarding. A huge thank you to all the Social Policy lecturers who have been a tremendous support to me, I am forever grateful.
Congratulations to the BSc Hons Construction Engineering and Management Class of 2021 on your well deserved success and graduation. Best wishes for your future!
It has been a pleasure to spend three years at Ulster studying History with English. It was not always easy, especially with COVID, but I still had fun. I wish the best of luck to everyone who graduated this year, and I hope everyone's future prospects are bright.
Congratulations to everyone graduating. Wishing you all every success for your future endeavours. We did it!
Wow we did it! Absolutely loved this course and very grateful to the support of the teaching staff. Thank you to all who supported me through achieving a 2.1 whilst working. Your support and knowledge has been invaluable. Congratulations to all my fellow graduates and I wish you all the best in your future careers! We got through a pandemic and achieved an Honours Degree.
Dear CJS Class of 2021, on behalf of the Ceramics, Jewellery and Silversmithing team, I would like to congratulate you on your graduation! It has been a great pleasure to work with you over the last three/four years. This has been a difficult year, but you have all worked very hard, overcoming and embracing the various challenges posed by the pandemic. As a team, we are proud of your achievement. I have no doubt that you will all go on to make important contributions in whatever you do in the future. Good luck and keep in touch!
Congratulations! Despite the downright bizarre and weird end to our undergraduate degrees, we did it! Although it may have ended in quite a lonely and isolated manner, never forget that we are still connected through our love and passion for our subjects. For now, onwards and upwards! I wish you all the best in any and every future endeavour. Liv 🥳
A huge congratulations to everyone, it's not been an easy journey but we made it!!
Congratulations to the class of 2021....we are so proud of your achievements in the most challenging of circumstances. Lockdowns, remote learning, hospital placements during a pandemic - everything else will be a breeze after that! Looking forward to seeing you back for Masters level study very soon.
Congratulations to all the PGCE English with Drama and Media Studies graduates. You have all been exceptional this year and you all provided great support for pupils and colleagues when teaching out on school placements. I am very proud of you all. Well done on all of your many achievements during such a challenging year.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to put on a coat.

Many conGRADulations to the CYW Class of 2021 - what a year to complete your degree! While undertaking your studies and completing your SOAP you've also been juggling pandemic restrictions and work on the front line, in keeping young people connected, safe and hopeful! You are stars and are well deserving of this graduation recognition! Sorry we couldn't finish up where you started off...Dalriada!
Really enjoyed the course! Lots of fun challenges. Thank you to all the tutors!
Congratulations to all M.Ed graduates! We did it! Thank you to each and every member of staff who supported and encouraged us through current and relevant modules in the midst of a pandemic. Proud to be a #UU2021 graduate.
If you’re reading this, future me, put down this book and do something more productive.
My time at Ulster University has been eventful to say the least. Meeting new people and friends has made the experience of being a student. Studying during the pandemic definitely was difficult for us all, to every single one of my classmates graduating Congratulations. We did our final year online, during such difficult times, and for that we all deserve the biggest pat on the back. I wish everyone the best for the future, good luck in your further career paths - I hope it brings all the success that you deserve. I’m sure everyone will do amazing and smash it as always.
Dear all lecturers, I would like to say a big thank you for your assistance in getting me through an incredibly challenging course. This last year has been an exceedingly difficult one for all of us and I hope that soon we can get back to some sort of normality in the coming months. I would like to say a special thank you to the course director Dr Ming Jun Haung who has guided me through this course and Dr Patrick Keatley and Dr Caterina Brandoni who provided me with a challenging but interesting project to do. Again, many thanks to all of you at Ulster University you have been very considerate when I lost my mother and I appreciate your help during that difficult time as well.
Thanks to all my lecturers for putting up with my pestering. Thanks to all my friends for not slapping me. Thanks to Ulster for the last 3 years. Will miss all the staff and students in the law course at Magee, good luck to everyone and hope your future is bright.
School of Sport students....Happy Graduation Day!! Many congratulations everyone - an exceptionally challenging year for us all, but you stepped-up and knocked it out of the park! Special shout out to my SLS512'ers and dissertation students - your efforts and engagement was top-notch! Pleasure working with you and best wishes on your next chapter #ProudOfUU
As my time at Ulster University draws to a close, I would like to give my sincerest thanks to the fantastic lecturers that helped grow my passion for biomedical science. Their patience, support and wisdom in the past four years have been totally invaluable, and I am excited for the next cohort of students that get to learn from them. I am so glad that I chose UU for my undergraduate degree, and I wish my fellow Class of 2021 the very best in their future endeavours!
Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2021. It has been a pleasure meeting and knowing you all throughout the past 4 years. You are the exceptional talent moving our industry forward. Wishing you all success for a continuous and prosperous career.
Well done to everyone. It took a while but I got there in the end, never give up!!
Congratulations to all our pharmacy graduates of 2021... Be recognized and celebrated Be trusted and needed Be always part of #UU School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Best wishes to all of you.
When life shuts a door, open it back up. That's how doors work.
I've never had a passion for my GPA, however Ulster University has taught me valuable things such as the full form of PAINS - P- Positive, A-Attitude, I-In, N-Negative, S-Situations.
A chairde maithe, Comhghairdeas libh uilig go léir as teacht chuig deireadh na céime agus gach rud a chur i gcríoch anois. Congratulations to the Class of 2021 - Gaeilge abú! - achieving great progress in your oral and written skills, language fluency and building up enough confidence that will bring you forward to your new bright future. It's all ahead of you. Considering how many challenges you have stood against in the last academic year, you are now well prepared to move on. Life goes on! Go n-éiri go geal libh!
Congratulations to all of our participants and thank you to our active learning champions and student learning partners. It's been a challenging year but we all got through it together.
If studying for a degree were a training videogame designed in preparation for the wildness of the world's challenges, the class of 2021 has just passed an additional level of difficulty derived from Covid19, a level never played before. It's time to shine, fellows; It's time to fix the unfixable.
"Don't use that photo with the dog." - Mum.
Uni was like riding a bike before COVID, and once we all went to remote learning it still was, except the bike was on fire, the ground was on fire and everything was on fire, because it was HELL. Where did those 4 years go? At the beginning this degree seemed impossibly hard, but with classmates, lecturers and all the people there to offer additional learning support, we made it. Niall & Nathan - what can I say? I couldn't have done it without you lads. Mairin, Dermot, Shane, Catriona, Pratheepan, Magda and more - you must all be glad to see the back of me now, and to all of the friends I made along the way - well done and thanks for everything.
To all our fab graduating students, I am excited to see what the future holds for you. Graduation day is the highlight of the year, watching you all receive your degree -it fills me with pride. I recall what you were like on day 1, in induction sessions nervous, excited, and eager to learn and I am in awe of all you have achieved. I hope you have a fabulous day 😊
To our graduating students, remember 3 things about lifelong learning as you go on to do great things in your organisations: 1. Keep it simple - learning doesn't need to be complicated 2. Keep it real - how can you use what you know to improve your life and those around you? 3. Keep it up - never stop learning, always be inquisitive, education is a true gift. You have studied and graduated in a year of lockdown! You are now the new Ulster Alumni, we are so very proud of your accomplishments, well done and a massive congratulations to you - hard work pays!
I had such an enjoyable time on this course and got to meet some really lovely people. Massive thank you to all the tutors who were so welcoming and encouraging!
Well done to everyone, all the hard work has paid off. Best of luck in the future. The best is yet to come.
If you told me I’d finish a degree without being on campus for the entire final year.. I would have laughed! Sad but grateful we still got our studies complete. Good luck everyone and many thanks to all our lecturers 😊
Many congratulations to the class of 2021! You all have worked so hard and deserved all your excellent marks and degree, especially in this unusual year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Celebrate your graduation with your friends and family, and enjoy! Do keep in contact and best wishes for your career.

I am very grateful to be able to graduate in what was a hectic year, and I would like to thank all the members of staff, lecturers and my peers who helped guide me during this long journey. Furthermore, I wish all of my peers who are graduating with me all the best in the future.
Congratulations to my fellow 2021 Ulster University graduates! This year has been more than we could have imagined when we started our journey. I am very proud of all of us that have finished what we set out to do. I want to thank our lecturers for their patience when teaching us online during this challenging year 2020-2021. Best wishes to you in all of your future endeavors!
Ohhh, what a day.
Congratulations to everyone who graduated in English this year! Congratulations especially to everyone who took my third-year "Shakespeare" module - you all did fabulously well! Congratulations especially especially to my third-year "Dissertation" supervisees - I'm really pleased with how well each of you did!
P.S I hope to see many of you on the Masters course!
Many congratulations to all our Business School graduates - I'm delighted to see you do so well as you reach the end of your time with us. I hope you take time to celebrate this achievement and I wish you well for the next stage in your personal development. With very best wishes.
Anything is possible when you work hard and want it enough.
Sincerest congratulations to all of the graduands in the Class of 2021 across Ulster University. You are members of a very special cohort given the significant changes in how we work, learn and interact with each other over the past year and a bit. You have developed a very rich set of skills due to the new challenges you have faced - both individually and collectively - and excelled therein. Enjoy the moment of your graduation, appreciating the support of your family and friends, before embracing the next stage in your personal educational and employment journey. Wishing each and every one of you every success. Comhghairdeas libh!
Many congratulations to all of our graduating students in History and History with Combinations. I know you guys faced lots of disruptions and challenges during your three years with us, but it says so much about your talent and strength of character that you all achieved such wonderful results regardless. I hope that you enjoyed your time with us and don't forget that we are always here to help with references or offer advice in the years ahead. Don't be a stranger and do keep in touch!
Thank you so much to all the staff and the amazing friends I met at Jordanstown for all your help and support.
On graduation day in July 1988 (Coleraine), I never imagined I’d return to Ulster University and enjoy a further course of study. However, I did hope that one day, I would marry my best friend (Linda) who graduated with me on that same sunny graduation day. After 33 years I can confirm that sometimes dreams really do come true! From my perspective as a class representative, I am very grateful to the course director and staff for their attentive and proactive approach to successfully overcoming the unusual challenges that this difficult year has posed. I wish everyone continued success and joy in the years to come.
Thank you to our lecturers Helen McKenna, Paul Mellon and Brian Douglas; Librarians Sarah Smyth and Gerard McFall; and my classmates for all your help. How many references are we allowed?!
Well done to all the graduating students! Best wishes for your Clinical Placement and your future as an Independent Prescribing Optometrist. Keep in touch.
As Head of the School of Arts and Humanities, I congratulate each and every one of you who is completing your studies with us in this second year of the COVID pandemic. Your success is a testament to your hard work, engagement and resilience in meeting and overcoming all the challenges that you have faced to reach your potential. The success of all of our students is supported by staff across the School and wider university: your lecturers, technical and professional support staff, so I am sure you will want to thank all of these people too. Finally, you will have been supported by your wider networks of family, friendships and peers. I hope that you will be able to find some way to celebrate this success with all of these people who have been so important to you. Good luck with your next steps wherever they take you!
Congratulations to all the photography graduates - you've been fantastic to share ideas and practice with. Your collective spirit has been incredible and you've shown commitment throughout. You've made incredible work and we're so proud of how much you've achieved. You're an important part of our growing photography community - stay in touch and let us know how you get on. Well done!
Thanks to all the staff and other students who made this a really positive experience.
Thank you to the staff of UU for all their support through this unprecedented time. A special thanks to Peter Mitchell for his advice, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Thanks Tommy Sé.
"Every step towards achieving a goal is history in the making. To chase your goals you must follow your heart, make plans, strategise, build and execute. What history are you going to make along your journey? It's about the understanding of yourself on what you really love, your dreams, and your goals in life. By knowing that, passion and desire comes "naturally" from your bones to always stay hungry for it, the desire to be starving every moment. Then, execution comes along on how to accomplish and execute every step wisely towards it. You never know you "can't" until you try, and rather than failure, I care about the process of doing what I love everyday, and I am blessed to do so. There's risk in everything, but it depends on you if you are willing to take it. It depends on how hungry you are for it. Don't hesitate. Never regret. Do it because you love it. Life is too short. Let's make history." - Jackson Wang
I will still always chant ‘Ulster Ulster Ulster’ on a night out because we are the best university out there. And I will wear my Ulster University jumper till it falls to threads. My time here was amazing and I truly became the real, happiest version of myself.
Congrats to all after a turbulent and unpredictable year due to COVID, we did it 🥳…..a special thank you to our lecturers for being there 24/7 and getting us through it all.
Congratulations Class of 2021!!! I would like to express my gratitude to my professors for everything they taught me, for their guidance, and for their support these past two years. I would like to also say thank you to my online classmates for their help and their support. We have managed to build strong friendships. I had an incredible two-year experience at Ulster that I will never forget. All the best to my lecturers and my classmates and who knows, I may have the opportunity to come back to Ulster University to do my Ph.D. Well done Class of 2021!!
Big thanks to the whole Criminology and Criminal Justice team! It would appear that miracles really do happen because here I bloody am. Here's to the future 😊 Congratulations everyone!
This has been an amazing experience and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to study the great photographers and apply depth research to my own practice. The staff are exceptionally talented photographers in their own right and they have gone out of their way to help me succeed. I feel very fortunate to have shared the journey with a very gifted group of students online and on campus, who I am sure will stay connected in the future. Thank you all.
I can’t believe my undergrad journey has come to an end! Good luck to everyone in their next steps of life and I hope the time at UU has provided a platform for great opportunities to come ahead!!
These past four years have been a roller-coaster ride of emotions but I'm grateful for all the memories, lessons and amazing people I had the opportunity to meet! Thank you to the lecturers for their guidance in this journey and to all my classmates who have come and gone along the way that have given me positive memories! It's now the start of a new journey! "No matter what other people may say, we are the protagonists of the world." - Keiji Akaashi.
I never thought that I would be able to go to university. I have thoroughly enjoyed my years studying history. I thank all staff involved and the Student Support department for all helping me achieve a first class honours degree!
Hi guys! What a year! Can I just again say how much of a fantastic bunch you all are and that I love you all so much? After losing beautiful Orla and the pandemic, we all got together on our facebook page and the camaraderie was just what we needed to get us through. Difficult assignments, personal battles and hectic placements were never suffered alone, we all came to the page to give support, laughs (memes!) and direction.. we probably wouldn't have got through it in one piece alone. We deserve this so much and I hope your futures in work are as wonderful as you deserve them to be♡ love Gillian The Meme Queen Hendrie ♡
Congratulations to all my fellow students for getting through your degree and doing so in the middle of a global pandemic! To all those that have supported me, in particular my family and my partner Charlotte, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Yeha g'on the boys who messed up their A-Levels and had to go through tech to get into uni!
A very unusual year, living and learning in the digital world has become the new normality for many. The long nights, countless coffees and excessive screen time has officially came to a close. Congratulations to the whole class of 2021, it’s been a blast. Good luck!
“My, philosophy is, basically this. And this is something that I live by. And I always have. And I always will. Don’t, ever, for any reason, do anything, to anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who you are with, or, or where you are going, or, or where you’ve been. Ever. For any reason. Whatsoever.” – Michael Scott
To the class of 2021, you have all amazed me this year with the tenacity, perseverance and resilience demonstrated throughout the year. It was not easy; there was stress, and meltdowns and tears.... Now time to decompress, celebrate and say 'Cheers' 🍾🥂. It was my privilege to be a small part of your journey. Best wishes for a life of happiness and success for the future, there is literally no hurdle you cannot overcome. Go for it! Keep in touch. Warmest wishes and hearty congrats, Sinéad and Family.
Congrats to everyone who graduated this year! We haven't had the easiest university experience due to Covid, but we still got through it! I wish you all every success in the future. Also thanks to the Social Policy and Criminology lecturers for the last three years. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been memorable and I've enjoyed every moment.
Everybody on Magee’s drama course has done fantastically over the past three years. The past year and a half has been a disaster, especially for us students, with online learning. The lack of social aspects and online lectures has been hard but here we are graduating with our drama degree. I want to thank the lecturers for everything they did for us over our three years at Ulster University.
I would like to thank the superb lecturers, library and administrative staff, and my course colleagues from my Postgrad GIS studies. It was a great experience going back to study as a mature student. This has been the first chapter in a new career direction and has definitely started me on that path. Best wishes to all the staff and those continuing on with the course.
Thank you for giving me this lovely learning experience!
Ba aistear thar a bheith taitneamhach, spéisiúil, simiúil agus dúshlánach é gan aon dabht, agus b'aoibhinn le mo chroí gur baineadh ceann scíbe an aistir áirithe sin amach. Guím gach rath ar mo chomh-mhic léinn go bhfeicfidh mé arís iad, agus gabhaim mo bhuíochas le léachtóirí na Roinne Gaeilge in Ollscoil Uladh, Campas Bhéal Feirste.
It was undoubtedly a very enjoyable, interesting, exciting and challenging journey, and I was delighted that the destination of that particular journey had been reached. I wish my fellow students every success in the future, and I thank the lecturers of the Department of Irish at Ulster University, Belfast Campus.

“Take pride in how far you have come and take faith in how far you can go.” Class of 2021 - we did it!
Congratulations to all MSc Art Psychotherapy graduates on your dedication to achieving your degree and professional recognition. On behalf of the staff team I wish you every success in your new career. We are proud of what you have accomplished for yourselves and the profession and it has been a privilege to teach you all. We celebrate with you today and know you will succeed in your ambitions to make a difference in the lives of those you serve. Very Best Wishes.
Class of 2021!! Congratulations to everyone getting through this year, we were definitely put through the wringer this time around. Graduating during a pandemic shows our ability to adapt to our situations and make them work for us. You should all be so proud!! 🤍
Congratulations everyone! We did so well getting through such a tough year! Onwards & upwards!! As Michael Scott once said, "May your hats fly as high as your dreams."
I'm going to miss all the amazing students and staff I met through my journey with Ulster. A massive thanks to all my tutors who helped with so much over the years! Hopefully see you all again in September for my Masters.
I have studied at the Coleraine campus as a part time student for 6 years. I have loved every single second and, despite the challenges of the last year, I would like to convey my sincerest thanks to all the staff for their commitment and support. Without them I would not have graduated this year. Congratulations to the #Classof2021
I have many great memories of my time spent at Ulster within the design studios on the Belfast campus. Never a dull moment is an understatement! I met some amazing people along the way as well as challenged myself in ways I never could have predicted, all the craic and memories will stick by all of us forever! I’d like to thank all of the lecturers for their guidance and help along the way even if I didn’t appreciate it at the time lol! All the best to the Class of 2021, the journey has only just begun.
Thank you for everything UU!
The sadness of University coming to a close has been positively offset by the excitement and opportunity life now has to offer. I would like to thank my lecturers Paul McCormack and Dr. Kyle Boyd for their passion, attention and continuous support throughout my time at Ulster University. Their knowledge, guidance and advice has been pivotal in both my personal and professional development. I will surely miss the craic and creativeness of the IxD Studio, however, I am grateful for the time we spent there together - Thank You Class of 2021.
We did it!!! How is that our degree is finished? Sometimes it feels like yesterday walking into Ulster University for the first time in 2017 but it also feels like a lifetime ago! I remember how nervous and isolated I felt that first day but looking back I also remember how amazing that trip to Ardara in September 2017 was for making friends, developing geographical fieldwork skills and bonding with the lecturers! My favourite memory of university was the 2019 trip to Cyprus! The warm weather, the fieldwork and the scenic landscapes (along with the partying!) I will forever cherish the many memories I’ve made at Ulster!
Over the last four years our class has changed so much, some students move on, new students arrive, but for many of us it’s been a close family watched over by Mamma Ruth, fun Aunty Jill and stern but wise uncle Liam. I just want to wish everyone a successful future and thank you for being part of my journey, much love to you all!
"The painter has the Universe in his mind and hands." ― Leonardo da Vinci
It’s been a privilege to share this course with students I can now call friends. I wish all my classmates the very best for the future!
Thanks Magee, for getting me through my course. Best wishes in the future ahead, everyone!
"Do all things as unto the Lord, and not unto men." (Colossians 3:23)
What an extremely enriching and enjoyable 5 years! Deep gratitude to the staff and fellow students at UU for a fantastic experience. Best wishes to all!
Despite the difficulties, those were three hella fun years, being able to meet so many amazing people and perform alongside them in various endeavors. Whether it was Jazz Festivals, Halloween, or even the smallest workshops, they were an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything else. I wish all of them the best on their next journey. I am proud to be 2021 Graduate alongside them. And to our juniors; Be confident! Shake the heavens in the next year!
Congratulations to all the 2021 Sport and Exercise Nutrition Graduates. I look forward to watching you develop and progress in sport in the coming years. Well done on all of your achievements whilst studying at Ulster. #ProudofUU Best wishes for the future, from myself and all the course team.
“She doesn’t even go here” - my whole class of 2021.
I'm as surprised as you are.
Thank you UUC for an incredible 4 years. Good luck to all the new graduates and remember - don't be in such a rush to figure everything out. Embrace the unknown and let your life surprise you!
Thank you to all of my lecturers, peers and university staff for making my time at Ulster University one of the most enjoyable and memorable times of my life. It's been a great journey and I have grown as a person because of you all. I am lucky and grateful to have been part of this cohort. Thanks a million 😁
I have had an amazing two years studying at the Ulster University. The course I was studying was outstanding in every aspect. I enjoyed it so much and was taught by amazing lecturers and subject matter experts from Industry. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who taught me, my family and friends and my class mates. Good luck everyone and best wishes for the future. #Class of 2021.
Thank you for some of the best years of my life, giving me so many new and long lasting experiences that have matured me through the years. This was a fulfilling part of my journey through life. I pray that the future will continue to be secure and safe from this point on. Keep at it and keep up your spirits and it will bear fruit.

Congratulations All! You all worked incredibly hard to produce some amazing work in difficult circumstances! It was a pleasure to teach you and help throughout your final year at BSoA and can't wait to hear about what you all get up to next! I wish you all the best - adventure is out there! 😊
Congratulations class of 2021! You should all be extremely proud of yourselves, for all your efforts and the achievement of being a professionally qualified youth worker. Well done all, keep in touch and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
Massive thank you to all my family and friends who helped me throughout this year! A special mention to my supervisor Katie Liston & the PA Panthers. Congratulations everyone and good luck for whatever is next. 🙏🏽
Awk, but sure, who doubted me?
Congratulations to all the community youth work graduates of 2021. You have done so well. I am so proud of you and and your achievements. As you continue to work with young people, be true to yourself and be the agents of social change that will help make a better world.
My three years at UUC have given me given me the confidence and skills I never thought I would have. Thank you to every single lecturer on the MSP course for believing in me and helping me grow as an individual - even during remote learning. Congrats to the class of 2021!
Coming to Northern Ireland is one of the hardest but best things I've done. I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me along the way during the pandemic, especially Mark and my family.
To all participants who have engaged with us in 2020-21, and in particular those of you named in the first edition of the CHERP Celebration of Professional Learning and Recognition Yearbook – we say thank you for your contributions to this learning community in which sharing practice and inspiration thrives, and congratulations on your success. Enjoy the celebrations and we look forward to welcoming you back for further professional development in the near future.
To the Fine Art Painting Class of '21. Congratulations on your hard work and final shows, I hope you enjoyed the journey you took with us on Floor 7. Whatever career path you follow now, the good news is you never retire from being a painter. I hope the art journey and the art life continues to be a rewarding one! Best wishes.
Congratulations to all those graduating this year. Sorry we weren't able to meet and have our usual craic and sandwiches, but online was fun too. Your standard of work was outstanding in all modules. I wish you all well in your future careers.
Congratulations to all M.Ed and PgDip School Leadership graduates! I'm delighted to celebrate your achievements and acknowledge your success in a year beset with challenges. I am very proud of your dedication and readiness to learn, and I know that it is such a mindset that brings growth and integrity to teaching organisations near, far, now and in the future. I have taught a good number of you in Jordanstown, Monaghan and online. Some of you were in my very first classes at UU! In some cases, we spoke when you were just toying with the idea of part-time study...I would have welcomed the chance to speak to you in person and raise a glass to you. Sadly that cannot be, but I hope you will mark your graduation day with friends and family and look back on your time at Ulster University with fond memories. Warmest wishes.
Hi, I'm Gabrielle, owner of Ballycastle Escape - a 4 star holiday let and co-production projects co-ordinator at the Patient Client Council. (never miss an opportunity to promote your business!) I just want to thank Ulster University & the Dept. of Communities for giving me the opportunity to pursue this course at a very difficult time for my business. A big thanks also go to Nick and his team, Robert, Chris, Sandra and Andrea who were very supportive. Lots of new ideas and concepts to introduce to my business! Thanks!
Best of luck Class of 2021. May you have nothing but good luck going forward as you make a new mark on the world. You will always be part of the School of Sport family so you can always call on us if there is something you think we can assist you with. As you march forward in your new journey be brave, be kind and be yourself.
Big thank you to Paul McCormack, Dr. Kyle Boyd & Daniel Philpott for all of your guidance and support over the last 4 years. It has been a great journey and I have enjoyed every minute of it. #ixdfam
It’s not an exaggeration when people say university is a completely different challenge and experience than secondary school. The transition between the two opened my eyes to a different and more independent way of learning. The addition of the pandemic in my last 1.5 years at Ulster meant my time at university was even more unique than most. Studying from home was a challenge but was something that helped me excel in my course and allowed me to obtain a 2.1 in my Civil Engineering Masters. A great time from start to finish, even though this picture was me for every 9am lecture!
Yeah, it was ok.
I knew through completing my undergraduate degree with Ulster University, that I wanted to complete my Masters with the Coleraine faculty. The opportunity to gain experience in the field of ABA, as well as the passionate and quality teaching, made my time truly enjoyable. The support I received through my first year, a year out of study, and my final year in America during a global pandemic, was second to none. I am grateful for, and will look fondly back on my time completing my Masters degree.
I applied for the MSc Biomedical Science course at Ulster University via distance learning, part-time, whilst working as a Biomedical Scientist in the Haematology and Blood Transfusion department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Scotland. During this time I was able to continue my role in the laboratory whilst learning the tools necessary to progress further in my career. My time spent learning at Ulster has been a great experience due to the great communication and support from lecturers and faculty and such diverse use of learning tools throughout each module. Upon completion of my MSc at Ulster I have been successful in applying for the Senior Biomedical Scientist role at my laboratory and will now get to act as a mentor for both new and experienced laboratory scientists. I will be forever grateful of the opportunity I was given to take part in my course at Ulster.
Imagine someone telling you in first year that you would have to do half of your degree online because someone decided to eat some bad bat soup and it caused a global pandemic. Mental.
The past two years have been a real challenge, however, I am glad to say I made it! Massive thanks to my family, friends and fellow classmates for all the support over the past two years. "All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them"
Wow we did it! Thank you to my classmates, amazing lecturers, my supervisor Steve Pollard and everyone who helped make this graduation happen. A special shout out to my daughters whose laughter, silliness and love filled my office/study/classroom area during lock-down, you are the most fantastic young women in the world and I hope this serves as an example that you can and will do anything you put your mind to. This is our graduation!
You did your best and that is enough. "I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart." – Vincent Van Gogh
Congratulations to everyone on the PGCEHP! Well done and we hope to see you back with us soon for some more postgrad study. It's been a tough year but you have all done immensely well and you should be very proud of your achievement. All the best.
Not the year we had planned for our final year in university but WE DID IT!! Thank you to the lovely staff that lectured on my course and my peers who gave me the strength and guidance to get through a very challenging year. At least we can say we got a degree in the middle of a pandemic! All the best everyone! Class of 2021🥂
To all our Health & Wellbeing students, congratulations you have successfully completed your degree in a very challenging year. Your commitment to learning and engagement with the learning opportunities was really outstanding. I wish each and every one of you continued success in your career pathway. It has been such a pleasure and an honour to work with you.
Four amazing years at Ulster University has come to an end. This academic year as been an unusual one, with online learning and no face to face interaction, however, I'm thankful to have such great classmates who I could call upon throughout the year. Friends for life. I want to thank Dr Adrian Devine (Course Director) for all his guidance and support throughout the past four years. His passion for Event Management comes across clearly in his teaching and he always made the class fun and engaging, I will miss his classes each week. Secondly, I would like to thank Dr Lynsey Hollywood for all her support and guidance throughout my dissertation. When the going got tough, she was always only a phone call or email away to 'calm the storm'. I couldn't have asked for a better Business Plan supervisor! Many fond memories made over the past four years, organising Love Island Live, corporate days out, virtual Get Your Glow On dance class. Volunteering with the Belfast City Marathon and Special Olympics. The most incredible placement year with Belfast City Council from organising the annual Halloween Monster Mash and Belfast Christmas Lights Switch-on to the cancellation of St. Patrick's Day implementing contingency plans due to a global pandemic. Many valuable lessons learned along the way. All these experiences made possible through Ulster University. Thank you, it's been a blast.
Throughout a very challenging couple of years, we made it! I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ulster University although time on campus was cut short. I have learned a lot and realised that life is full of bumps in the road - yet through the Pandemic and having my baby boy I managed to graduate and never quit. A special thank you to Prof. Tony Cassidy for his help and never ending support throughout this course; and to all teaching staff who have been so kind and supportive. Congratulations to the Class of 2021!
Congratulations on your graduation everyone! Sorry we can not celebrate on campus together but hope you all manage to celebrate in style. Wishing you all the very best for your future careers. You should be very proud of your achievements. Keep in touch and pop in and visit when you can.
Now that University is over and I must make my path all I can think is to ask myself... "what would Buffy do?"
In a year that kept us all physically apart, I feel like I got to know you all so much more. I loved hearing your stories from behind the screen; how you have overcome challenges, meeting your families, and listening to your plans for the future. I am so immensely proud of how you have applied yourself, produced outstanding work and demonstrated incredible resilience. Enjoy your Graduation. This is your moment. Please keep in touch. I look forward to hearing about what mark you will make on the world.
Congratulations to all of you who have successfully completed your course and are graduating. I know from speaking with students that this year has been tough for many, so your achievements are all the more admirable. I also know that many of you have put your studies to great use, transforming organisations and relaunching careers. It is fantastic to hear the stories of how you are making an impact. Best wishes to you all.
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow. It'll soon be here.

University is a life changing opportunity to critique your own identity and changes the view of the world around you. A place where you are challenged to understand both practice and theory. Also a place to make life long social connections.
What a wild few years University has been, there's been some good times and bad but that's just life... had a great experience! Good Luck Everyone #ClassOf2021
You did it! Well done to the graduating class of 2021. Particularly a huge well done to my BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management students. Despite everything, you have risen to the challenge and excelled and I couldn't be prouder. I look forward to hearing where you go from here and am confident you will make your mark - congratulations again!
Well done everyone on successfully completing your marketing degree! It was my pleasure to get to know you all and I enjoyed giving the Entrepreneurial Marketing lectures very much. I wish each of you every success as you move forward into your chosen careers.

Well done everyone! What an amazing four years it has been. It has flown in! Feels like only yesterday I was walking in for the induction. We all had a difficult academic final year with remote learning, but we all pulled through. Good luck to everyone in their future endeavours!
Congrats class of 2021! It’s been a blast with so much turbulence in between, however there has been so many great memories to be found! From studying abroad, to enjoying society events, and hanging around the art studios until the late hours; there has always been a lot going on to be involved with! Many great friendships have been made that will last with us long after we have graduated and I can’t wait to reminisce this journey in years to come!

Cannot believe we made it! Three years of craziness, fun, and a whole lot of work has come to end. Well done everyone! Can't believe I am going to miss the grueling travelling from Belfast to Magee. But most importantly going to miss the craic that went on in the seminars.
Congratulations to everyone graduating from the MEd! We did it! It was lovely to meet you all throughout the MEd and to keep each other inspired to finish even in the midst of the pandemic. All the best and hope to see you soon.
Congratulations to all our Accounting, Finance and Economics graduates of 2021. I wish you every success for the future and congratulations on your fantastic achievements. You should be so proud as we are, take care and stay in touch.

Remember you are all ambassadors for UUBS and we are so proud of you all. Take care and enjoy your future.
Congratulations and well done! I am super proud of each and every one of you and it has been an absolute honour to share this journey with you. Despite the pandemic you have shown that determination, desire and focus can overcome anything. I look forward to hearing all about your future successes wherever your journey and plans take you. My door is always open (virtually anyway for now) so don't be a stranger. As you have done to date always put your heart into everything and remember if opportunity doesn't come knocking, go out and build the door yourself! Well done again - you all are absolutely fabulous.
To the Social Enterprise Class of '21 Congratulations. It fills me with so much pride to be associated with your journey. It has been a privilege to work alongside people who make a positive difference in the world and are committed to even greater impact. Once these restrictions on our lives ease we will organise a get-together and celebrate. Thank you to you and please keep in touch.
To everyone who completed BMG350 Enterprise Development & Entrepreneurship a huge congratulations on your achievement during what has been a very difficult time. The quality of your ideas, your ability to execute those ideas and your commitment to the learning has been fantastic. Whatever your journey looks like I wish you every success and hope that you will keep in touch.
The last 3 years in Magee was an amazing experience and one that I will never forget. I want to thank my class mates and lecturers for everything they have done to get me to this point in life.
Thank you UUJ for the experience and amazing friends.
Thank you, caffeine.
Everyone should be proud of how far we have come from our first day in 2016. We made it through this degree and through our final year in the middle of pandemic, we knew final year would be difficult but completing it in a global pandemic only made it harder. I am so happy to have seen all of my friends do so well.
From a young age my main goal in life was to graduate university. This goal was always challenged due to my chronic illnesses. I was told by many health and social care staff throughout my life that I would never be well enough or have my anxiety under control enough to finish school or get to university, never mind graduating. From multiple health diagnoses, to major spinal surgery, from having to drop out of school and be home-educated, from sitting my GCSEs in hospital to struggling with my mental health, my goal seemed further and further away. But with determination and hard work I got into Ulster University to study Law with Criminology. I chose this degree so that one day I could help others who struggled through education with no voice or justice because of their health or just the situation they found themselves in. My health made my degree that bit more challenging and I had to change from being a full-time student to studying part-time to be able to attend all of my hospital appointments. The Student Support Services at Ulster made my university goal possible, they provided me with constant support from day one and worked my degree around my chronic illnesses. I want to thank the Student Support team at Jordanstown because without them my journey to graduation may not have even been possible. I want to thank John Kennedy for making every adjustment possible in the School of Law to help me complete my studies even whilst unwell. But most of all I want to thank Andrew McGibbon for always believing in me throughout the hardest moments of my life, when I had given up on all my goals, he held onto them until I was strong enough to try again, and because of that, I am now graduating with a Bachelor of Laws. Class of 2021, we did it!
A massive thanks to the Cinematic Arts and Ulster Team who helped me in achieving a first degree honours in Cinematic Arts. I'm also grateful for them providing a relaxed creative learning environment. To my peers, I wish you all the best in your creative ventures. You's are all talented and have a bright future ahead. Stay safe and Stay Creative. Thanks
I cannot speak highly enough of Stephen Gallagher, Julian, Micky and everyone behind everything that is ABA on this campus. I felt so supported through a difficult work situation that spiked early on in my course, my lecturers encouraged me to do the right thing and that’s really all I’ve been doing since. Most importantly, the passion they hold for behavioral science has 100% been passed on to me and I’ll never be able to thank them enough for it.

After spending several years studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I can finally confirm that electricity is just voodoo magic.

It has been an incredible 3 years. I achieved and did things I never thought I would ever do. I am looking forward to possibly coming back to Ulster University to do my masters after I take a gap year. Well Done Class of 2021!
I can highly recommend the M.Ed with specialisms. It was a fantastic course with great support from the tutors. It was very current and the move to online learning, as a result of Covid, was absolutely seamless. It was busy but manageable. It has really helped my classroom teaching and also allowed me to step into a management role. I’m so glad I decided to finally do it!
Class of 2021, what a year it has been. What an absolute pleasure it is to have studied at UUJ, whether on campus or from home. Studying Criminology and Criminal Justice has been an amazing experience, from an outstanding teaching team to interesting and thought provoking lectures and seminars. A big thank you to Brian and the team. Also, thank you Olga and Lauren for helping me get through my degree, especially when ripping my hair out over assignments. Good luck to each and every student graduating and I wish you every success for the future!
If you don't laugh, you cry.
Time at Ulster is whatever you make it. You can sail by and complete your degree with only knowledge of your course. Or you can get involved and take the opportunities offered to gain a great experience. I’d encourage anyone to take the opportunities as they come and cherish the good moments on the rollercoaster ride that is university!

On behalf of the Ulster University Business School at Magee, I wish you many congratulations on your graduation. All the staff of the Department of Global Business and Enterprise have delighted in having you as part of our student cohort. Enjoy this day and hopefully we will be celebrating in style, and face-to-face, soon. Well done, we are very proud of you.
Congratulations to my fellow 2021 graduates, in particular, my classmates in Cinematic Arts! These times of pandemic have been disruptive on our studies, as well as the industry that we wish to enter. Our hard work, dedication and exemplary teamwork are silver linings for the film industry in these strange times. Wishing you all the best for your future career and/or studies.
I'd like to say a big thanks to my lecturers for everything they taught me, and providing me with a strong foundation for a career in the GIS industry. I'd like to shout out my virtual classmates (most of whom are going on to do the Masters, which I'm sure they'll do brilliantly in) who I was in contact with through WhatsApp. We had a really fun group where we would vent, laugh and empathise with each other about our eLearning experience, which would have been far more isolating without it. I had a great year studying at Ulster. All the best to the class of 2021!
4 years of tears, laughs & memories I’ll never forget
It has been an interesting year with many different twists and turns ...but we did it!! Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all the best for the future.
Best of luck to everyone starting out in their career. Time to celebrate 🎉 A big thank you to our course director Ian Smyth for all his help and support over the past few years. I couldn’t have done it without you!
UU gave me back the confidence to invest in myself. Was a great experience. Thank you!

Well done to everyone who made it through this year, it was tough but definitely worth it in the end! Met amazing people and had great laughs, wasn’t the normal university experience but definitely a memorable one!
Thanks to my classmates and tutors for all their support and help!
Thank you to the fantastic lecturers, particularly Lesley McGrogan and Shirley Davey, for all the support during my course. You are a credit to UU. Life long learning. It was also a pleasure getting to know a great bunch of classmates, albeit online! We will meet for a celebration before years end 2021!!
The last four years at Ulster University have been a massive learning curve for me, I have made friends and bonds for life and I will always cherish my time here. Thank you to everyone who kept me grounded.
It’s such a shame that we never got to be on campus for our final year. Congratulations to everyone for excelling despite the circumstances. Enjoy your celebrations, stay safe and good luck for the future #classof2021
Ulster University has helped me realise that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. I've made lifelong friends and, although my time is coming to an end, I wouldn't have traded it for anything else. Congratulations to all of the other graduates, particularly my friends in Pharmacology who were the best!
Congrats to all of Class of 2021 - we overcame the odds to achieve our best in the midst of a global pandemic! Amazing! Thank you to Ulster University for the experience and opportunities that changed my life. Time to see where the world can take us now…Cheers/Salud/Sláinte/Prost/Let’s drink 🍷
