The awards of students are conferred at the next suite of graduation ceremonies following the date on which they successfully complete their course.

Times & Arrival

  • Graduands should arrive at least one and a half hours before the ceremony to allow sufficient time to collect and don academical dress.
  • The ceremonies start promptly at 11.00am in the morning and 4.00pm in the afternoon.
  • If graduands wish to have photographs taken before the ceremony they should arrive even earlier.
  • Graduands are required to attend a short rehearsal starting at 10.00am for morning ceremonies and 3.00pm for afternoon ceremonies.
  • Please note that no student may take part in a ceremony unless they have checked in and received a seat ticket.

Graduates collect their academical dress and seating cards from the Upper Piazza area, which is located at the Newmarket Street entrance.
