To provide spaces for those attending the afternoon ceremony, it is important that morning graduates and guests vacate the car parks as early as possible, preferably no later than 1.30 pm.
All those attending graduation are advised to arrive in good time in case parking proves difficult and it is necessary to seek an alternative car park.
Further details on car parking in Belfast City Centre can be found on belfastcity.gov.uk.
Graduates and guests attending the Friday morning ceremony should be aware that a weekly market takes place opposite the Waterfront Hall. As a result, the area will be busier than usual, with extra traffic and more demand for car parking.
The photographers will be located in Hall 1B which may be accessed via the Riverside entrance of the Waterfront Hall, which will be open between 8.30 am and 10.00 am, 12.30 pm and 3.00 pm and 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

There is a cost for this service.
The Waterfront Hall is situated in the centre of Belfast, with a busy main road to the front and open access to the River Lagan at the rear.
Please ensure that any children attending the ceremony are fully supervised at all times while in the vicinity of the building.
Graduates who have indicated that they have special requirements in respect of the use of wheelchairs, mobility difficulties, visual or hearing impairments should already have been contacted individually by Registry.
If you are a graduate with special requirements, and have not yet advised us, please contact 028 9036 6920 as soon as possible.
If you have advised us that one or more of your guests have special requirements, then we have issued tickets as appropriate in respect of ground floor seats, end of row seats or seats at the front/rear of the auditorium.
If you have advised us that one of your guests is a wheelchair user, then special seating in the wheelchair accessible area has been allocated. One other seated guest accompanies each wheelchair place. Due to the demand for this seating and the limited number of places available, it is not always possible to seat the rest of the party in adjacent seats. However, we have seated the rest of your guests as close as possible to this area.
The interior of the hall is fully accessible with lifts to all levels and ramps where appropriate. If you have any queries about the facilities available, including car parking for badge holders, please contact the Waterfront Hall directly on 028 9033 4400.
Further Additional ticket sales for those who applied via the On Line Graduation system may have the opportunity to purchase further additional guest tickets (please note that any additional tickets initially purchased are guaranteed) via the student portal between 12 noon on Monday 12 June and 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday 13 June 2017.
Please note that there are no further additional tickets available for the graduation ceremony on Friday 7 July at 11.00 a.m.
Tickets for attendees and guests may be collected from Hall 1C in the Waterfront Hall.
Entrance to the Waterfront Hall for graduation will be through the new ‘Riverside’ entrance.
Contact the Registry Office, Jordanstown, on 028 9036 6251/6252 at once if you are in any doubt as to which ceremony you should be attending.
Details of where the graduates are seated will be issued at the point of collection of academical dress on the day of the ceremony.
All seating in the Waterfront Hall is numbered and guests must use the seats which have been allocated to them.
As the graduates and their guests will be entering the auditorium separately, please ensure that your guests are in possession of their tickets before you leave them to attend the rehearsal.
In order to comply with safety regulations, a ticket must be presented for all those entering the auditorium, even for babies or toddlers under one year in age who do not require a seat. Please ask for a baby ticket at the reception desk on the day if you require one.
All guests over the age of one year will be charged for tickets.
Guests will not be admitted to the auditorium unless they are in possession of valid guest tickets.
