This event is aimed at those in the food and drinks industry who are keen to explore new opportunities and to develop their business. The event is organised by Ulster University Business School's Agri-food Business Development Centre which offers specialist teaching on aspects of agri-food business. The Centre also engages with industry and policy-makers to provide businesses with evidence informed research to help improve the competitive position of the Northern Ireland agri-food industry.

Tom Kennedy brings a unique style of high-energy and interesting insights from his diverse experiences as a food industry executive, educator, government official, veteran, consultant and entrepreneur. He has dedicated his life and career to the development of business and people, both nationally and internationally. Tom is respected for his expertise in the areas of food marketing, selling strategy, agribusiness, supply chain, food safety and security, and business strategy and management.
Tom has amassed over 25 years of food industry experience. From General Manager of Jones Dairy Farm, an innovative, family-owned, national pork manufacturer. He was worked in Education with Saint Joeseph's University, Philadelphia and has also worked on an international traceability program with the Australian beef industry and its connection with the American food service industry. He has recently been appointed as the first Entrepreneur in Residence at Ulster University Business School.
