“In all fields of knowledge occasionally new ideas or discoveries arise which negate previous thinking – and I do not think that this field is an exception. The more I have studied the area of endeavour sometimes labelled ‘enterprise’, the more it seems to me that we have unconsciously made or adopted a number of assumptions about it which would appear to be questionable. I believe that if we do not attempt to identify and correct these assumptions then at least some of our efforts to practice, encourage, teach and/or support enterprise will continue to be wasted if not actually harmful”
- Professor Simon Bridge
Professor Simon Bridge explores some of these assumptions, what they are, how we came to make them, why they are wrong or at least misleading and what we might consider instead.
