Research Graduate School : Faculty of Arts
We have approximately 150 students, the majority of them full-time, in the Research Graduate School. This represents some 15% of the University's research student population.
Of the Faculty's academic staff over 80% are research-active. As such our teaching and supervision is deeply informed by a culture of research. We follow best practices in research supervision throughout our postgraduate provision.
The Research Graduate School has responsibility for all aspects of research student education and training from initial application to final examination. You can download details of the School's role, structure, terms of reference, and the processes it oversees in the Faculty's handbook for postgraduate research.
