The Legal Innovation Centre are pleased to host a lecture by Roger Smith, Technology and Access to Justice - a help or a hindrance?

This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Dr Esther McGuinness and Professor Grainne McKeever will join Roger to discuss developments in technology their application to Access to Justice.

Professor Roger Smith is a pre-eminent researcher and writer in the field of Technology and Access to Justice. He has authored a series of important reports for the Legal Education Foundation on Digital Delivery of Legal Services to People on Low Incomes, and blogs on Law, Technology and Access to Justice.  Dr Esther McGuinness and Professor Grainne McKeever are Co-Directors of the Ulster University Law Clinic which hosts an Access to Justice LLM, and provides advice and representation to the public in areas of unmet legal need.  Each has a core interest in Access to Justice issues and a developing interest in the application of technology in this field.
