The conference will feature talks by Irish and international scholars from Sweden, Armenia and further afield on the diverse topics relating to Irish oral and material traditional culture.
We will close by the annual Bo Almqvist lecture to be delivered by Dr Guy Beiner of Ben Gurion University on “Penetrating Social Forgetting:
The Challenges of Collecting Ulster Folk History Traditions in the Mid-Twentieth-Century”.
