6 Final Year Undergraduate Music students each present a programme of twenty minutes of music, across rock, pop and jazz. In every case, the music is arranged by the performers and in some cases is an original work. The students also manage their own ensemble, selecting and directing accompanying musicians.
It is with great pride that we showcase the students’ talent and the culmination of three years of hard work to an audience of parents, friends and invited dignitaries.
The evening is hosted by BBC Radio Ulster’s Lynette Fay, and music is provided at the interval by some of our University’s Traditional musicians under the guidance of Dr Liz Doherty, who herself has been nominated for an internal University Award of ‘Inspirational Teacher of the Year’.
Designed as an evening of celebration and a chance to share the fruits of the endeavours of our finest Performance students, we are delighted to invite you to join us in celebrating the students’ achievements and the Music Department's growing reputation for research and teaching excellence.
