The Centre is exploring the potential implications of Brexit on policy, public administration and delivery of services
This research project examines the implications of Brexit for the administration and the delivery of public services in Northern Ireland and the UK as a whole.
It is led by Dr Gordon Marnoch in collaboration with academics from the University of Glasgow: Professor David Heald, Professor Tom Mullen and Iain Wright.
Together, they explored how different Brexit scenarios may affect public services and what is the most optimal way forward. In 2018 the research was presented through the Brexit, Devolution and Ireland seminar series in Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
Over 300 participated, including senior civil servants, NHS and local government leaders, and diplomatic service staff among others.
