The adoption and use of Artificial intelligence (AI) is burgeoning across the world and Northern Ireland is no exception. The AI Research Centre at School of Computing in Ulster University was established in 2020. AIRC’s vision is to advance AI to help new business models and ventures, to enable an intelligent society, empower citizens and to support a sustainable future. AIRC’s mission is to engage stakeholders and users, to develop cutting-edge AI theories, algorithms and tools, and to create and deploy state of the art AI solutions to practical problems through alignment with university, local, national and European initiatives.
On behalf of Dr Jun Liu, Director of AIRC, you are invited to our first annual Northern Ireland-focused AIRC Workshop, which will showcase AIRC research and activities to enhance understanding of our research, help setup links with community, public and private sector organisations, to discuss opportunities for collaboration and to provide a forum for easily accessible best practice and advice.
If you are a large or small company, third or public sector organisation, or just any kind of organisation with data, then come along and learn how we can help you translate those data into insights and actionable knowledge for your business.
We’ll also tell you about funding that is available to help support engagement with us, including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Innovation Vouchers and more.
