The Careers Teachers' Conference is an excellent opportunity to find out more about course provision, new developments, admissions, and employability at Ulster.

Delegates will also hear from the Head of Admissions (Mrs Roisin McEvoy) and have the opportunity to attend a range of course-related presentations/workshops, including:

  • Health Professions Aptitude Test (HPAT)
  • Social Work: The Story of Professional Social Work at Ulster University
  • Art & Design Portfolio: A short talk on Art and design portfolios for Belfast School of Art applicants
  • Build Something New: Careers in the Built Environment
  • Why choose a career in Computing?
  • Culinary Arts Management: The Multisensory Science of Food and eating
  • Geography and environmental science – dispelling old myths
  • NI Economic Outlook - Centre for Economic Policy
  • Ulster Graduate Destinations

Refreshments will be available throughout the morning with a light lunch served after the event at The MAC.  Attendance at the lunch will also provide the opportunity to network with course staff and guest speakers. Free car parking is also available.

As part of our commitment to supporting careers education, information and advice at schools and colleges, we have extended our invitation to all teachers and also colleagues from the careers service.
