GeoTopics: Current Insights into Geography Teacher Event

Environmental Science - Geography fieldwork

This free half-day course will give teachers the opportunity to learn about current teaching and research ongoing at Ulster University. International experts will present case studies that relate to the Geography curriculum. Teachers will be introduced to the courses at Ulster, careers in Geography and will also hear the experience of successful graduates. An overview of GIS will also be given and teachers will be provided with a GIS manual that can be completed for free using any computer with an internet connection.

Key highlights include: Curriculum relevant case studies in coastal, fluvial, human and physical geography. An insight into career opportunities. Ulster updates. Networking. A complementary take-away GIS resource pack.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
