As part of the Athena SWAN initiative, Ulster University, in partnership with the University of Limerick, the North West Regional College and Derry and Strabane District Council are hosting a conference to inspire, support and share excellent practice to improve gender equality in STEMM.
This conference aims to showcase the innovative practice that is underway within the sector, and from elsewhere, to encourage women and girls into STEMM and to transform the workplace culture. The event will bring together more than 120 delegates including researchers, policy makers, educators and leaders from industry to consider existing initiatives in addressing gender inequality in science locally, nationally and across Europe, and debate what more needs to be done to sustain and enhance those initiatives.
