Outline of Activity

*Open to BA Hons English students* Contribute to the organisation, running and administration of a society for English students interested in creative writing. Organise, promote and publicise events focused on creative writing. Work with established writers to develop an insight into the processes of writing publishing and performing creative work

Learning Outcomes

    • Ability to work as a team and plan a programme of events
    • Competence in administering a budget
    • Networking sand promotional skills

Assessment Details

  • Written reflection OR presentation to peers outlining the activities completed during the year and reflecting on the skills acquired

Level of Commitment

20 hours of activity including a 2 hour workshop where participants will develop their written reflection/presentation in consultation with creative writing staff.
