Covid 19 Volunteers

Covid 19 Volunteers Civic Contribution award is recognising those students who have given time to others during the Covid 19 crisis in Northern Ireland.


Outline of Activity

We are encouraging students to volunteer in their local community during this time of crisis in Northern Ireland. This can be by registering with Volunteer Now, assisting the vulnerable in their community or making clothing for health workers

Learning Outcomes

  • You will learn resilience and strength of character
  • You will gain sociable skills by working with people from the community
  • You will improve time management by dividing your time between community work and your university work

Assessment Details

You will be required to complete a online survey on your experience as a Covid 19 Volunteer, this survey will explore your motivations and the impact of this volunteering on you. Please click here for the link to the survey

Level of Commitment

Students will be required to evidence that they given time to help others to during the Covid 19 crisis
