Peace and Conflict Leadership Transformation Project

The PACT Project is an innovative training programme where individual female participants will undertake a bespoke course that tackles conflict resolution, personal effectiveness in communication, understanding equality and diversity, communities, citizenship and leadership.


Outline of Activity

PACT is an innovative assured training project designed to promote peace and reconciliation for women across Northern Ireland and the border regions of the Republic of Ireland. Upon completion of the PACT Project, participants will receive an ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Project Management and a digital qualification in Peacebuilding and Conflict.

Learning Outcomes

  • Lasting sustainable positive relations developed, friendships developed and collaborative working partnerships and networks established;
  • Increased community relations through enhanced understanding of conflict reconciliation and post-conflict transition delivered and individual engagement at the individual, local and regional and cross-border levels;
  • ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Project Management and a digital qualification in Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation

Assessment Details

  • Digital qualification will be assessed through discussion sessions.

  • ILM Level 3 qualification will be assessed through the completion of the course. There will be some brief writing required, all under advisement from PACT facilitator

Level of Commitment

Approximately one half day once a month for three months.
