UU Create Enterprise Programme

The aim of this activity is to develop your enterprising skills in order to give you the confidence and skills to take advantage of opportunities that will be presented in the labour market and to help prepare you for freelance and portfolio career opportunities.

To develop your entrepreneur skills.

Learning Outcomes

Through participating in this programme, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify and develop skills for enterprise and employability
  • Address key societal challenges and issues
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to solve problems
  • Create solutions that have commercial potential

Assessment Details

Students must complete an online learning programme and also attend a 2 day residential. Online Learning Programme:

Students will participate in 3 weeks of online learning. You will be registered for UU Create via Black Board Learn and will engage in online webinars, discussions, self-assessment exercises and self-directed reading materials.

2 Day Residential:

Students will attend and participate in a 2 day residential where they will hear from industry representatives and work in groups to solve problems. At the end of day 2 students will present their idea to a panel of judges.
