So She Did is the University’s free programme that helps female students identify business opportunities, validate their ideas and start a side-hustle or new venture.
Outline of Activity
SO SHE DID is the University’s free programme that helps female students identify business opportunities, validate their ideas and start a side-hustle or new venture. This is delivered through a series of 5 workshops throughout the academic year, and participants are supported by a mentor.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this activity students will have:
· Developed and validated ideas through specialist workshops.
· Learnt from the experiences of successful business owners through exclusive events.
· Received practical 1-2-1 mentoring from business leaders, alumni and entrepreneurs.
· Developed their entrepreneurial skills by launching and growing a new business venture.
Assessment Details
Submit an Executive Summary document
Level of Commitment
30+ hours. This is in the form of attending workshops, 1:1 meetings with a mentor and personal commitment/work.
