Microsoft Windows 10 has an end of support life date of October 2025.
To address this, the University seeks to elevate all qualifying /capable hardware to the latest release of Windows-11 ahead of this deadline.
What this means for you
As part of the project, automatic upgrades using the underpinning management technologies will be deployed in August and September 2024.
A concluding action will involve a device re-boot and confirmation of local device preferences for Windows-11. Indicative responses /preferred settings to this phase are highlighted below.
