This workshop gives you the opportunity to review your career path to date and consider your options for your career beyond academia once your PhD is complete. You will start to identify and assess your skills and priorities, generate and research career ideas, and identify sources of information and support to move forward.

Dr Stella So works is a Senior Employability Adviser with Ulster University.
Julie Gerrish is a highly experienced Career Development Consultant with 10 years’ experience in the delivery of high quality careers advice and guidance in Higher Education working with a range of student groups including postgraduates and doctoral researchers. She has professional qualifications in Careers Guidance and Higher Education Practice as well as industry experience in public policy making and stakeholder engagement. Her professional interests lie in research around career decision making and theoretical processes of careers guidance, as well as the effectiveness of employability interventions within the HE curriculum.
