Building Your LinkedIn Profile
Your network is the most important tool for finding and securing new opportunities. LinkedIn is the platform that allows you to build and expand your network and the best bit is, it's in a format you recognise and are used to navigating. Getting added value from having a LinkedIn profile is not that straightforward and this workshop will focus on how you can have a LinkedIn profile that makes an impact for you.

Julie Gerrish is a highly experienced Career Development Consultant with 10 years’ experience in the delivery of high quality careers advice and guidance in Higher Education working with a range of student groups including postgraduates and doctoral researchers. She has professional qualifications in Careers Guidance and Higher Education Practice as well as industry experience in public policy making and stakeholder engagement. Her professional interests lie in research around career decision making and theoretical processes of careers guidance, as well as the effectiveness of employability interventions within the HE curriculum.
