In this workshop photographer Simon Mills will give practical advice on using photography to document your research projects and fieldwork. He will cover camera settings and lighting tips as well as basic editing processes to get the most from your images. We will also look at photographing archive materials and documents in a library setting.

    Simon Mills is a Belfast based documentary photographer and film maker. As well as exploring
    making processes and communities, his work also examines land use and our changing
    relationship with the landscape.  Simon also documents exhibitions and installations with several of Northern Ireland’s galleries.
