This course is designed to introduce participants to the key concepts in business strategy. On successful completion of this course, participants will have an in-depth knowledge of strategy; be able to conduct a strategic analysis of an organisation, its environment, and its future strategic options; understand the fundamentals of formulating an international strategy; appreciate some of the key issues associated with strategy implementation; and critically evaluate current theory and practice on strategy.

In this section
This short course is designed to introduce participants to the key concepts in business strategy. It aims to provide participants with an understanding of strategy and its practical application in a range of different contexts. The course will develop strategic awareness and strategy skills, and create an awareness of the factors that contribute to successful business strategies in the context of the global economy.

This course requires attendance onfour individual days from 9.30am to 4.30pm in February/March 2018 (dates to be confirmed).

English Language Requirements
International applicants whose first language is not English must meet the minimum English entrance requirements of the University, which is a minimum acceptable score for the British Council IELTS of 6.0 (with no contributing band of less than 5.5) or equivalent.
