  • Main food information requirements
  • Mandatory food information
  • Principles for the list of ingredients and quantitative ingredient declaration (QUID)
  • Allergen labelling
  • Requirements for nutrition labelling on foods
  • Labelling for foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional uses
  • Labelling for organic foods
  • Traceability and labelling of GMOs/GM foods

Assessment

A multiple choice questionnaire will be offered to students as a tool for self-assessment of the acquired knowledge.

This course is delivered online through the University of Ulster's Virtual Learning Environment.
