  • Course Overview

The MSc Management postgraduate qualification enables graduates to convert and up-skill their management skills.

It also enhances recruitment opportunities significantly by equipping its students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and lead within a range of industries including IT, Healthcare, and many others.

The course is open to graduates of all disciplines and is suited to those who have graduated recently, and graduates who are returning to study. It can be studied full-time or part-time.

  • Course Structure

The duration of the programme is normally:

    • full-time: one academic year of three semesters
    • part-time: two academic years of six semesters

In the first semester, taught modules are delivered every Tuesday and Wednesday for 12 weeks. In the second and third semesters taught modules are block taught, which means that students attend intensive all-day teaching on specified days (usually three to four days in total) for each module.

A 12 week 'Internship and Management Project' enables students to apply knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme to an organisational issue or problem, and, additionally, provides students with valuable experience of selling themselves to employers, gaining employment and acquiring and developing workplace skills which will enhance their future career prospects.

In full-time mode, students will study three taught modules in each of the first two semesters. In the third semester students will study one taught module and undertake an Internship and Management Project which incorporates a 12 week period of work based learning.

You can find out even more about the course - including modules and entry requirements - via its Online Prospectus entry.
