Artist Talks: Peter Burns

Peter Burns has exhibited regularly with Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast. He curated Stranger Shores an exhibition of contemporary Irish figurative painting at the Gallery in 2015.  Recent solo exhibitions include Wayfarer, Claremorris Gallery (2018) and new work, Fenderesky Gallery (2018).

He has shown extensively at international Art Fairs including Context NY & Miami and VUE, Dublin with Gibbons & Nicholas. Before the Flood a solo presentation of new paintings and sculptures was exhibited at London Art Fair (2018). He is represented by Taylor Galleries, Dublin.

Burns has been featured in Wall Street International Magazine, The Sunday Times and ArtForum. He is a recent recipient of the Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant. He has a BA in Sculpture and MFA in Painting from NCAD, Dublin. He lives and works in Co. Mayo.
