We’re calling on our graduates and supporters to come on board as ambassadors to help make the day a success.

What is a Giving Day Ambassador?

By becoming a Giving Day ambassador, you’ll join us in spreading the word about this transformational day of giving and encourage your friends, family and networks to get involved too. You’ll become a champion for the much needed causes this campaign is helping to support including:

  • Childhood cancer research
  • Mind your Mood
  • Pancreatic cancer research
  • Student scholarships
  • Ulster University School of Medicine scholarships

Giving Day is an opportunity for our community of graduates, staff, students and supporters to come together to help transform lives.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing all the ways in which you can become involved from sharing campaign messages on social media, to taking part in challenges with your fellow graduates and colleagues. But for now, sign up to be an Ambassador on the Giving Day website and we’ll send you more information in the coming weeks.

Professor Brian Murphy, Director of Academic Business Development at Ulster University shares why he has signed up as an Ambassador:

I’m supporting Ulster University’s Giving Day as I have seen the life-changing impact scholarships can have. Last year we launched the Community Scholarships, which aim to remove the financial barrier for those with potential who otherwise might not have been able to access a higher education. 42 students starting university in September 2021 were supported and the impact on their lives and academic experience is already evident. I personally support scholarships as I believe in the difference they can make – they can be the deciding factor in students progressing their education. Please consider joining me in helping change students’ lives.

If you’re not able to come on board as an Ambassador but would like to support our first Giving Day, you can make an early donation and choose your cause.
