Tina McKenzie - 'Against all odds - From Zero to £180 million in Five Years'

Ulster University invites you to hear from our Guest Speaker, Ulster alumna Tina McKenzie; CEO of Grafton Recruitment Ireland on her incredible journey: 'Against all odds - From Zero to £180 million in Five Years'.

Tina McKenzie returned to Northern Ireland in 2013 and set up the Ireland division of Staffline. Despite having very little resources and with a staff of just two, Tina made a bold and ambitious plan to hit a target of £100m turnover within 5 years. By the end of 2018 her business, which enjoyed rapid organic and acquired growth was hitting a turnover of £180m. Her incredible journey was often beset by personal doubt, some cynicism from her peers, included a high-profile meander into the political domain and presented huge challenges to her young family. Despite these significant hurdles Tina overcame these difficulties and exceeded not just her business targets but every expectation going.
