Atlantic & Cromore Court Resident Information
Cromore and Atlantic Court are located opposite campus so you only have a short walk to your classes.
As well as this Coleraine town centre is only a few minutes walk away, where you will find a full range of shops and supermarkets, on the outskirts of the town there is a cinema, bowling alley and other retail outlets.
Portrush and Portstewart are also close by, they offer a range of cafes, bars and restaurants, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The area also has good transport links, so Belfast and Derry/Londonderry can be easily reached by bus or train.

Resident Support Assistants (RSA)
The Resident Support Assistants are there to
1. Help you adjust to living in a large residential area and provide peer support and guidance on a range of issues and will deal with minor disputes and any initial instances of anti-social behaviour.
2. Help organise social activities through the Resident's life Programme.
3. Provide you with information of campus facilities
4. Be available from 7pm each evening within the development working a shift rota

Night Support Residents
Your NSA is Gary Watton, he operates from the Residential Services Office and his contact details are 07885389490, he is available 10.00pm to 5.00am Sunday evening to Friday morning.
Night support assistants are members of staff who will help you settle into campus life.
They provide advice and assistance for a range of issues and are mainly responsible for health and safety.
As you will be living in close proximity to each other, a high level of tolerance and respect is required.
Cromore/Atlantic Court is situated directly opposite campus.

There are notice boards in each complex showing the RSA rota and contact numbers, as well as social events and other activities.
The electricity to your apartment is controlled via key pad metering.
Each apartment is allocated a 19-digit number and electricity is purchased at any outlet displaying the Pay Point sign or by telephoning 08457 455 455 using a debit card.
Electricity can be purchased in amounts from £5 upwards.
Cromore and Atlantic Court have a centralised fire alarm system for your protection. On hearing the alarm, you should follow the ‘Fire/ Emergency Procedure’ which is set out on the blue and white notice in your flat. If you encounter a fire, no matter how small, you should also follow this procedure.
Please remember that the kitchen door so be kept shut - this is a fire door
There is oil-fired central heating throughout, which is included in the price of your accommodation.
This service provides heating and hot water.
If your heating or hot water is not working, please report it to the Residential Services Office immediately.
There is a TV aerial socket in the living room.
The Wi-Fi within Cromore/Atlantic is operated by Uni-Fi, if you encounter difficulties please contact Tel No. 028 90 328 888 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please make sure that all your rubbish is placed in the large capacity bins provided.
These are located throughout the complex. Please keep the bin area clean and tidy at all times.
The Blue bins are for recycling newspapers, clean cans and jars, cardboard and bottles
You are responsible for cleaning your own study bedroom, kitchen, living room, shower and WC, and cleaning equipment is available to use in your unit, although you should purchase your own cleaning products, bin bags and toilet paper. Kitchens should be kept clean and tidy, with all equipment washed and put away after use. Inspections will be carried out each term and you will be notified when these are taking place.
If any repairs are required in your accommodation please fill in a fault report form online so we can fix it.
Please note that appointments cannot be made for maintenance works and access to your room may be required for repairs and maintenance when you are absent. There may be occasions when routine maintenance needs to be carried out, 48 hours notice will be given to tell you when this will take place.
There is adequate on-site parking. Free parking is provided for residents only on a first come, first served basis. The University accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle left in the car park.
Closed circuit television cameras monitor the area of Atlantic Court.
