High degrees of satisfaction at Ulster University

Students at Belfast Ulster University has achieved its best rating to date in the latest National Student Survey

Ulster University has achieved its best rating to date in the eleventh annual National Student Survey. The census of nearly half a million students across the UK saw Ulster University achieve an overall satisfaction rating of 89 per cent.

Professor Denise McAlister, Pro-Vice Chancellor at Ulster University said: "At Ulster University we are committed to working in partnership with our students to provide a high quality and transformative student experience.

"Year on year, Ulster University students are reporting high levels of satisfaction with their degree courses in the National Student Survey. For the fourth year in a row, the University has achieved an overall satisfaction rating greater than the sector average, a fact that can only help inform future students as they make their university choice. We are delighted with this strong endorsement from our students which is testament to the commitment of the University to produce qualified and highly skilled graduates in partnership with employers."

The University's overall satisfaction rating is up 1 percentage point from last year and 4 percentage points higher than the Higher Education Funding Council for England's (HEFCE) benchmark of 85 per cent.
