Northern Ireland is probably one of the best places in the UK and Ireland to be a student – the Community Relations team at Ulster University play an important part in making it so.
The University employs a full-time Community Relations Co-ordinator who attends meetings with stakeholders, ensuring the student experience is a positive one for all.
The Community Relations Co-ordinator's role also involves a programme of work to raise awareness among students and to develop relationships between students and residents.
Working in partnership
Community Relations work in partnership with various stakeholders such as resident groups including:
- Belfast Holyland Regeneration Association
- Stranmillis Residents' Association
as well as Belfast City Council and the PSNI etc.
