Winter Graduations Begin At University of Ulster

The University of Ulster’s Winter Graduation ceremonies get under way today at the University’s Coleraine campus, where students from the University’s Coleraine and Magee campuses receive their degrees. Over the three days of graduations, a total of over 1900 students will receive awards. The morning ceremony will see students from the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences (excluding the School of Biomedical Sciences) receive their awards. In addition, Distinguished Research Fellowship Awards will be presented to Professor Hugh McKenna Professor Ailbhe Ó Corráin Dr Sonya Agnes Coleman Dr Francis (Frank) Roland Lyons The afternoon ceremony will see students from the Faculties of Arts, Computing and Engineering, Life and Health Sciences (School of Biomedical Sciences only), Social Sciences and the Ulster Business School receive their awards. In addition the Distinguished Teaching and Learning Support Fellowship Awards (Team Award) will be presented to Dr Sally Cook Dr Alan Cooper Dr Richard Douglas The graduation ceremonies continue tomorrow at the Jordanstown campus.
