The Belfast Chaplaincy team work together to promote a welcoming, inclusive community offering pastoral and spiritual support and care to all students and staff regardless of your faith.

We are appointed by our denominations and the university to be available on campus to support the whole university community and are interested in all aspects of your university life.

The Chaplaincy Lounge BA-02-003 is a safe social space on campus for students and staff to meet, chat and unwind with some comfy seats and FREE tea/coffee.    Seminars and small group activities are also  held here.

At Monday lunchtime there is an opportunity to gather in the Lounge with members of the Christian Union for Campus Prayer.

On Tuesdays there is the Chaplaincy Free Lunch for students & staff at 12.30pm in

St Anne’s Cathedra Hall (access along Talbot Street).

Wednesdays 12.30-2pm is ‘Coffee and Chat’ time with the International Student Advisory Service.

The Difference Course– We live in a world which is complex and divided – from global conflict to our own relationships.  Drawing on the teachings of Jesus and the experience of several peacebuilders, this 5 week course on Wednesdays 4-6pm is designed to help us cross divides, navigate disagreement and pursue justice in our lives.

I-Café also runs on Wednesday evenings 7pm in the UUSU Social Space – a great opportunity for international students to enjoy some N.Irish Christian hospitality during term-time.

At the weekend, you can join some of the chaplains for ‘Saturday Danders’ in the countryside.  Departing from Block BC back-door -10am.

A list of local Places of Worship is available in the Chaplaincy Lounge.

Further information about our programme and social initiatives including dates / times is available on our Facebook page.
