This section of the website summarises all of the information needed to carry out Support Work for the University of Ulster Register of Support Providers. You can access all of the information and documents from the sidebar or the links provided.
In the Support Provider Information section, we have combined all of the important information that Support Providers should be aware of, along with an FAQ section to answer any recuring queries. The Code of Conduct should be read carefully and submitted to the Support Register by post when recruited as a Support Provider. A downloadable Support Provider Policy document (PDF) can also be accessed and printed.
The Payment section provides you with information on the payment process and work record forms needed in order to be paid each month for your support work. When recruited by the Support Register you will have to fill in the Bank Details Form and submit it so that your details can be processed.
The Work Record form, has been provided for your convenience in a Word format so it can be word processed and edited. If you have any doubts about filling out the Work Record you can refer to the Work Record Guidance Notes. A Self Employment Guide has been constructed for your information and to aid you with your tax returns, as you work with the Support Register on a Freelance basis. The Payment schedule has been enclosed for your information, all work records must be received by the Register's Office staff before the cut of date otherwise work records will not be processed untill the following month.
The Downloadable Forms section provides you with any other forms that are needed for the support relationship. These are provided for your convenience so you can print them off or save them onto your home computer. These need to be filled in and signed by both Support Provider and Student and sent back to the Support Register via post. * Please Note the Learning Plan is relevant to only a small number of roles on the Support Register.
