The STAR project (Student Transition And Retention) is an FDTL4 funded project based at the University of Ulster (with four partner institutions; The University of Brighton, Liverpool Hope University, The University of Manchester and The University of Sunderland). The project focuses on the identification, analysis, dissemination and uptake of good practice in supporting students during periods of rapid transition from one learning environment to another with an underlying aim to increase student retention.
