Dr Mark Donnelly


Overview

Mark Donnelly is a Senior Lecturer with the School of Computing at Ulster University. He holds both a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Computer Science and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

He has co-authored over 120 publications in areas surrounding data mining, digital health and, pervasive and mobile computing. Since 2009, he has been a Co-Investigator on 15 multidisciplinary projects including those funded by RCUK EPSRC, EU AAL and LLP, H2020, NIHSC R&D, and InvestNI.

As Principal-Investigator, he led on the EPSRC funded BMAC project, Big Lottery UK LIFEPAL project and the EU-FP7 MICHELANGELO project.

Mark is currently the Course Director for BSc (Hons) Computing Systems and teaches a range of topics including Python Programming, Module Development and Pervasive Computing.
