Sports facilities at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown campus

Become a member and experience what the Ulster Sports Centre can offer you as membership is open to EVERYONE!!

Come and get ACTIVE, by using one of our pitches both indoor or outdoor with a friend who is already a member or get INVOLVED by becoming a member of the Ulster Sports Centre and come and use our OUTSTANDING new facilities which include:

 

Indoor 3G artificial pitch

Indoor and Outdoor Athletics Areas

     

 Health Suite: including a Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Plunge Pool.

Indoor Facilities

 You can make use of our brand new Technogym Wellness Suite, including the first of its kind in Ireland: the ‘Kinesis Wall’, the suite also includes: the latest range of Technogym weights both fixed and free. We also have many new innovative cardio machines alongside the good old favourites. 

 Wellness Suite opening hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 7.00am to 10.00pm 
  • Saturday:             10.00am to 5.30pm 
  • Sunday:               12.30pm to 5.30pm

 

The Wellness Suite at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown campus

 

Sports Hall 1 - 33m x 23m - A multi-activity hall with electronic scoring unit and retractable spectator seating for 360 adults. Supplementary seating can be added if required.

Sports Hall 2 - 38m x 18m - A multi-activity hall with electronic scoreboard. Some spectator accommodation can be provided if required.

 

Sports Hall 1, Ulster Elks Basketball game

 

Other indoor facilities include:

  • Gymnasium - 23m x 15m - Contains a comprehensive range of gymnastic equipment
  • 2 Squash Courts - with viewing galleries
  • Seminar Room - with seating for 22 persons is suitable for small meetings
  • Strength and Conditioning Suite

Outdoor Facilities

Our outdoor pitches are currently being upgraded - contact Sports Reception regarding availability

1 Synthetic sand based pitch

1 Water based nylon hockey pitch 

  • New floodlit Rugby pitch
  • 3 Tennis courts
  • 2  Floodlit grass multi-sport areas
  • 2  Grass Soccer pitches
  • 2  Grass Gaelic pitches
