The Council is the governing body of the University. It has general control over the conduct of the University's affairs and is responsible for the management of its revenue, staff, property and health and safety. Specifically the Council has adopted a Statement of Primary Responsibilties. The detailed composition and functions of the Council are set out in the Charter, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations of the University.
