Welcome to Science in Society

Science in Society is an initiative based at the University of Ulster, to promote discussion and understanding of science and its relevance to society. It is for the general public and especially 9 – 18 year olds.

Science in Society includes a series of informative events open to the general public, covering everything from ‘science and alcohol; binge drinking and liquor licensing’ and ‘mobile phones and health’ to, ‘music, pleasure and the brain’ and ‘ the magic of light’.
